London Trip June 2018

8th June 2018
A group of Year 6 children accompanied by Miss Cowell and Miss Richardson embark on Hipsburn Primary School's first residential  trip to London.  Year 6 children and staff from Shilbottle, Felton and Seahouses primaries joined us on our adventures. 
 
Day 1 - Wednesday 6th June 2018
 
Despite the early start for the coach journey to London; we are all ready and excited for what lies ahead. Today we visit the Science Museum, enjoy a meal at the Rainforest Cafe then finish the day with a flight on the London Eye. Safely back at the hotel we are all ready for what we hope will be a peaceful night's sleep!
 
Day 2 - Thursday 7th June
 
After a good night's sleep we are up, dressed and having enjoyed a hearty breakfast are feeling excited for the day ahead. First stop Madame Tussauds .... 
Madame Tussauds done.. time for an ice cream then next stop Thames River Cruise!
Time for lunch by the London Eye
All aboard for the Thames River Cruise! We saw so many famous sites it was fantastic. We even stopped off at Tower Bridge for another ice - cream.
We loved the sights of Covent Garden. Tummies are starting to rumble so next stop Pizza Express. 
What a perfect end to a super day - Matilda the Musical, its was spectacular!
 
We passed Harrods on the way back to the Hotel, it looked so pretty all lit up.
Day 3 - Friday 8th June
 
There were some sleepy faces this morning but after another hearty breakfast we are raring to go for our final day. Warner Brothers Studios here we come for the Harry Potter Tour.
