DAY 2
After a good sleep and heart breakfast, the group are raring to go. First activity of the day - raft building!.#
WOW! What an amazing few days year 5 had at the beautiful Ford Castle on their 3 day residential last week.  The weather was perfect and the children had a fantastic time.
They behaved impeccably and every instructor that we spoke to said what a lovely group of children they were.  Some instructors even asked to exchange their sessions so that they could work with our children, which shows how brilliant they were.

Residentials are always a time to see our children in a different environment and this year was no different.  Their bravery and resilience shone through while bridge abseiling, rafting, problem solving, zip wiring, archery. orienteering and completing survival skills.  They displayed excellent teamwork and it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them outside of the school environment. They were all amazing and should be very proud of themselves.

This is what the children thought of their 3 days at Ford Castle.
"Residential of a lifetime"
"I will remember it for the rest of my life"
"I wish I could have stayed longer"
"Best school trip EVER!"
"The leaders made it exciting for us."
" Leaders were caring, kind, funny and full of surprises."
"The food was delicious."
"There were a lot of options to eat."
