Science
Ford are learning about light in science. They learnt about UV rays and how to stay safe in the sun. They used UV reacting beads outside and observed how they changed colour. They then looked at a set of beads that had been coated with SPF and observed how the colour did not change. 
 
 
Design Technology, Continued..
Ford were making their design criteria this week. They tested different lengths of timers for mindful colouring and used this information to write their design criteria. Next week we will start programming our timers!
 
Design Technology
In DT, Ford are going to be making microbit timers for mindful moments. Today they carried out product research and analysed timers already on the market with different visuals. They tested them on mindful colouring and thought about which timers were the best. 
 
Back to School
Ford have had such a busy time back at school. They have been amazing, getting used to new routines and timings! In History today, we looked at some Ancient Greek artefacts and made some inferences about the topic based on the objects. Well done!
