Hipsburn Choir Perform to Full House

6th October 2026
WOW, WOW, WOW!
What a treat our wonderful Hipsburn choir gave to the local community at St Mary's Church in Lesbury on Saturday morning.
Such a variety of songs, all sang with amazing voices, smiles and enthusiasm.
The church was full and the concert was enjoyed by everyone there.  There were some lovely comments from those that came to watch.
The children were fantastic and should be very proud of what they achieved that morning.

This is what our children in the choir thought.
"I found St Mary's fun, joyful and exciting, it was lovely seeing so many people there to support us".
"We got to share our songs with everybody and share the joy."
"It was a great opportunity"
"It was a wonderful experience"
"Wonderful to show people what we do and show off our singing"
"Great experience with our first real audience"
"I hope to do it another time"
"We were very lucky to have this opportunity, I really enjoyed it."

Thank you to everyone at St Mary's church for allowing us to come and share our music, everyone who came to watch, to all the parents who gave up their time to bring their children and watch. ( We know that our children have very active social lives and to see so many of the choir there was fabulous).

Finally, thank you to your talented children who performed the songs beautifully.
Next stop, Christmas - (So the choir tell us.)
