Save the Children have put together some resources to support your child’s mental health. They say, “Our coronavirus hub is designed to help kids and adults alike navigate through these difficult times... From how to talk to your kids about coronavirus, useful resources on creative play ideas and helping children to stay connected to their friends and grandparents.”

Dunstanburgh class are raising money for North Northumberland Hospice. We received a loan of £25 and have to see how much money we can make from that amount. The class decided to make 'seed bombs' and have been busy squishing clay, compost and a variety of seeds ready for the garden.

Whether it's a plant pot, flowerbed, a wild area in your garden or an entire meadow, sowing wildflowers provides vital resources to support a wide range of insects.Throwing, breaking up or digging ‘seed bombs’ (or balls) into areas in your garden that need a little brightening up is a perfect way of spending an afternoon!

We hope you will come and buy a box on Monday 10th February between 2-4pm in the hall.  Dunstanburgh class have designed beautiful boxes for the seed bombs; there will also be cakes and biscuits for sale.
