Key Stage 1 Assessments - Year 2

*******************************************************************************************

The SAT assessments for 2016 were different from previous years but the process remains a teacher assessed model. A child’s result is judged from their teacher’s assessment, which is informed by and supported from their test outcomes, rather than just their actual test scores.

The key changes made in 2016 will apply for this year’s SAT’s 2017, the advice on how parents could support their child during the run-up and during the assessment period are featured in the video link below.

All Year 2 children had a copy of this guide published by Rising Stars Assessment last year, it is still useful for parents, so please have a read. Please click to open the document.
