Hipsburn
First School is a small village school near the sea at Alnmouth. Children start
at Hipsburn when they are four years old and they stay until they are nine.
Younger children often join Lesbury Pre school Playgroup and
the Playgroup children often learn with our Reception children.
There is an
Out of School Club called Allsorts
and this
provides wrap around care. Children can have breakfast at school or stay until
5.30pm at Allsorts.
The coast of
Northumberland is very beautiful and we can see the estuary from our playground.
Our school grounds are great, with plenty of grass and trees and a pirate ship
and gazebo. We can walk to the beach and there are castles near enough to visit. |
